The City of Saskatoon is offering free bus passes on Monday April 4 to ensure that all city residents have access to transportation in order to vote during the provincial election.

People can download the free pass from A printed pass is not required; electronic versions on mobile phones will be accepted. Paper versions of the pass can be picked up at the Saskatoon Transit Customer Service Centre, a Saskatoon Public Library or at one of the City of Saskatoon Leisure Centres.

On Monday, people will need to present their pass to the operator to gain a free bus ride. Passes do not have a limited number of uses and will expire at end of service on April 4, 2016.

The City of Regina is not offering a similar service.
