Saskatoon, Saskatchewan – The Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority (SIGA) is celebrating the 20th Anniversary of the Gold Eagle Casino (GEC) in North Battleford, Saskatchewan on March 1st, 2016.

“SIGA is pleased to be celebrating 20 years of success in North Battleford with the newly expanded Gold Eagle Casino (GEC),” said Zane Hansen, President & CEO of SIGA.

“We are grateful to our patrons, employees, and members of the community for their support,” said Hansen, adding that he is grateful for the support of the City of North Battleford and surrounding communities for their support as well.

“We are excited to celebrate this very special anniversary,” said Kelly Atcheynum, the casino’s general manager. “We will kick the party off with a cake cutting ceremony on March 1st, followed by daily food specials in our Kihiw restaurant, a wide variety of live entertainment in our Event Centre, and hosting draws for cash and prizes all month long on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.”

Anniversary celebrations will continue throughout the month of March, Atcheynum said.
