A man’s death on the Little Black Bear First Nation is being treated as suspicious.

At 10:45 p.m. on December 3, the RCMP Dispatch Centre in Regina received a complaint of a sudden death at a residence on the Little Black Bear First Nation.  Members from the File Hills Police Service and Fort Qu’Appelle RCMP Detachment went to the residence where they located a deceased adult male in a residence.

As with all unexplained sudden deaths, this death is being treated as suspicious and an autopsy will be done. The man’s identity has not been determined.

The investigation is ongoing.

Assisting the File Hills Police Service are Fort Qu’Appelle RCMP, RCMP Major Crime Unit – South, Regina RCMP Forensic Identification Unit, RCMP General Investigation Section – Regina and the Office of the Chief Coroner.
