Residents, communities and industries who were affected by the northern wildfires this summer have one week left to provide feedback to the provincial government on its wildfire response.

The public has until December 15 to provide feedback as part of the province’s commitment to conduct a comprehensive review.

“Thank you to everyone who has participated so far,” said Government Relations Minister Jim Reiter.  “We want to listen to those most affected to see if we are able to make enhancements for emergency preparedness and future responses.  I encourage those who have yet to use the available feedback tools to do so.”

The online survey, launched in October, is available by clicking the Wildfire Response Survey link at www.saskatchewan.ca/haveyoursay.

Paper copies of the survey are available at northern municipal and band offices, along with the Northern Municipal Services Office in La Ronge.
