Ethan Bear scored twice Wednesday night to lead the Seattle Thunderbirds to a 3-2 victory over the Tri-City Americans.

The game against the Americans was the T-Birds annual GLOW Pink The Rink Night. The team wore special pink trimmed jerseys that were auctioned off after the game to support uncompensated care at the Breast Center at Valley Medical Center.

Bear put the T-Birds up 2-1 at 2:21 of the third period and then put the T-Birds in front 3-2 at 11:56 of the third with a power-play goal.

Bear, a member of the Ochapowace First Nation, has already played two seasons with the Seattle Thunderbirds, and in June, was drafted 124th overall by the Edmonton Oilers.
